ORELIAN RESORUCE
Operations

COMMUNITY
CULTURAL ENGAGEMENT

Orelian believe in giving back to our local communities and as such the company engages and supports , where practical, with both the local indigenous communities and local businesses.

Orelian has a long and strong established relationship with the traditional owners and members of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama and Pinikura (PKKP) and the Banjima Group.  We recognize and respect their enduring connection to the land and are committed to fostering partnerships that honour their cultural heritage and promote mutual development and progression.

We place a strong emphasis on local employment, actively recruiting and training members of the local indigenous communities to participate in our projects.  By providing meaningful employment opportunities, we aim to support economic development and build capacity within these communities.
Additionally, we collaborate closely with traditional owners to ensure that cultural heritage sites are identified, respected, and preserved throughout our operations.  This includes conducting comprehensive cultural heritage assessments and implementing management plans developed in consultation with Indigenous stakeholders.

Our approach is guided by a commitment to open dialogue, respect, and shared value creation, ensuring that our operations contribute positively to the social, economic and cultural well-being of the local indigenous people.
